Name: Sasuke Uchiha
Gender: Male
Age: 15-16
Village/Affiliation: Formerly of Konohagakure, Formerly of Otogakure, currently on Team Snake, or Eagle
Element(s): Primarily Lightning based chakra, also some fire basis as part of his Uchiha heredity.
Important relationships: Rival of Naruto Uzumaki, former teammate of Sakura Haruno. Student of Kakashi Hatake and Orochimaru. Younger Brother of Itachi Uchiha, currently teammates with Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo.
Appearance: Wears a white and generally open shirt with a zipper or no fastening down the front. On the back of this shirt is the Uchiha clan symbol in red, black and white. Instead of traditional zori, or ninja sandals, Sasuke wears a sort of Boot/Sandal hybrid. His pants resemble sweatpants and are dark blue, he also wears a lighter blue wrap of sorts around his waist, secured by Orochimaru’s trademark purple rope tied into a bow, the knot of which falls at his right hipbone. Also wears bracers of sorts on his arm, slightly similar to the kind worn by Jiraiya, and his Katana’s sheath is attached to the rope-like belt, positioned in the back with the handle facing towards the right.
His eyes are generally portrayed as dark gray or black, unless his kekkei-genkai is activated. Then his eyes turn red, with three small comma shaped pupils surrounding the primary pupil.
His hair is generally cut short, but his bangs fall to just below his chin, while the back of his hair has been said to resemble that of a duck’s rear end.
Personality: Generally very cold and commanding, likes to be in charge and in control of power. He will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, even if it means selling his soul to the devil in the process. He seems to be immune to all of the ploys and plans that girls try to win his heart and seems to be indifferent to the opposite gender completely. Sasuke however is known to be a bit cocky, sometimes letting his guard down in the heat of battle and pushing himself to the limit and sometimes even to the point of death. Sasuke also seems to put the completion of his goals and his thirst for revenge above all other things, including his teammates and friends.
Jutsu: Literally anything the Sharingan can copy, however the most frequently used are Katon: Gokyakyu, Shishirendan and Chidori as well as some other snake related ones.
Specialties: Curse seal, Kirin,and godmode as well as being able to mold Lightning into various forms.
Strongest Attribute: His sheer power and intimidating ability, gained from years of schooling with Kakashi Hatake, the copy ninja and Orochimaru, one of the legendary three sannin. His cold demeanor also serves as a useful device for gaining the upper hand by intimidation and calculating ability. His drive for revenge also causes him to reach new heights in his quest for power.
Weak point: While Sasuke has been hailed as the all-around genius of his generation, he has a tendency to lose control of his normally cold demeanor, causing him to become more reckless in battle. Another weak point is his rival and friend, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke nearly died once saving the knuckle-head ninja, and refused to kill him when he supposedly severed all ties with his home village. The last visible weak point is that Sasuke often flies into a blind rage whenever he sees Itachi, the brother that he wants to kill.
Summons: The Snake family, the head of which is Manda.
Miscellaneous: Secretly holds a semblance of respect for Naruto, always hated Orochimaru and probably still holds some remorse that Itachi could remain as his older brother and instead turned out to be the one he had to kill.
He has been pwned by the Forehead Poke of Doom TM many times and has perfected the patented Uchiha Death Glare TM down to a fine art.
History: Sasuke was born on July 23, the youngest child of Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha, one of the leading families of the Uchiha clan. However, Sasuke has always lived in the shadow of his older brother, Itachi. When Sasuke was six, he first entered the academy and was always at the top of his class, until that one fateful day he stayed there late and came home even later, only to find that his entire family and clan had been mercilessly exterminated by his older brother.
Then, Itachi admitted openly to killing them all and then told Sasuke: “Hate me and live, like the coward you are. Clinging to life without honor. And when you have the same eyes as I, you will find me again.” Ever since that day, Sasuke has taken the path of an avenger and vowed to kill Itachi and avenge his clan’s death.
Since the Uchiha clan massacre, Sasuke had become even more quiet and withdrawn, until he graduated from the academy at age 13 and was teamed with Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno. Through his teammates and sensei, Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke began to learn to open up a bit more until, during the chuunin exams, he was bitten by Orochimaru and given the curse seal of heaven.
Because of that, his thirst for power drove him until it forced him to defect from Konohagakure with the assistance of the Sound Four; then after his battle with Naruto at the valley of end, the two parted ways completely for two and a half years.
After that it was revealed that Sasuke had killed Orochimaru and formed team Snake to track down the Akatsuki, and along with the organization, Itachi. His teammates are Karin, Suigetsu and Juugo. Now, playing at cat and mouse with his older brother and eluding Naruto’s disillusioned attempts at bringing him back to Konohagakure, Sasuke lives as a rogue ninja, constantly on the move and in search of his goal.
Role-play sample:
The land of Rain really did live up to its name.
Sasuke mused, though not really in the mood for trite colloquialisms. He had left his team behind, seeing that they weren’t going to stop arguing anytime soon and that he would rather scout out this area alone and undisturbed by their raucous voices.
He frowned ever so slightly and pushed his bangs out of his eyes, only to have them plastered to his face once more by a small pattering of rain that then evolved into a full-fledged downpour.
Only god knows why the Akatsuki had chosen such a dismal place for their preferred haunt, but then again you could never question the minds of the men who made up the Akatsuki. They were all either sociopaths, sadists, masochists, or cannibals, as well as some other different and various degrees of insanity that either hadn’t been classified or of which Sasuke would rather not think.
After all, one of his mentors had been part of the Akatsuki, and even if Sasuke wasn’t one to judge, Orochimaru had become even more deranged during his brief membership. The withered hand with his old ring on it still resided in his office as a sort of grotesque heirloom from a past life.
Sasuke closed his eyes briefly and continued his trek through the forest, rain drumming on his shoulders despite the dense canopy of trees that should’ve provided at least some protection. But no, he must focus, for the completion of his sworn task was at hand. The curse mark upon his neck throbbed in anticipation as he moved forward, drawn by both his vow for revenge and a strange yearning to see that perfect face twisted in agony, agony that he had caused, agony that couldn’t even begin to compare with the pain that he had felt for all of those years after his family had been murdered and he had been left. Left all alone, left so that the pain would fester and bubble and boil into that gruesome beast that they call revenge.
Sasuke continued on, his face a mask of pale indifference.
And the rain pattered on.
Finally, My application is up. I hope I got everything accurately because I didn't use any references. That and while my roleplay example may not be as poetic, I really do hope it fits into your standard.
As a side note, I'll also be putting in an application for Tobi/Madara as my second character, so I'll be roleplaying him as a split personality, unless you believe that it should be done otherwise.

Edited. They were microscopic little errors, I didn't even notice them until I read it over a second time. Should be okay now.
